Bedfordshire Steam Rally

Our little piece of Australia: leather bush hats, road signs and sheepskin boots.

Hats off to the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society for organising such a fantastic steam and country fair at Old Warden Park, Shuttleworth over the weekend. It was a real pleasure to be part of such a fun and lively event. What's more, we got to meet some absolutely gorgeous dogs. Here are our favourites.

Here I am with Bryn, a beautifully soft Sheltie.

Here's Max, the Great Dane with his owner, modelling
one of our Barmah Australian Bush hats.

Here's Molly, a Heinz 57. Isn't she just the cutest?
Don't forget to check our events page on our website for all our upcoming steam rallies and country shows.

Biker Boots: Autumn's hottest new trend

Finally our prayers have been answered: a fashion trend that is practical and wearable. Biker Boots have taken the catwalks by storm and are already being sported by a number of stylish celebrities: Cheryl Cole, Fearne Cotton, Pixie Lott, Agyness Deyn and Alexa Chung, to name but a few.

Biker boots are so versatile as they can be worn with almost anything. They look just as great with floaty dresses as they do with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Now you too can be comfortable as well as super stylish with our Agyness Leather Biker Boots, only £24.99. Click here for more info.

Even though summer is over, there's no excuse for neglecting the garden. Those pesky weeds don't just disappear along with the fine weather! At Bobtails Trading Company we have just found the perfect solution for damp weather: garden clogs.

Black Flower Garden Clogs

White Flower Garden Clogs
Red Flower Garden Clogs
Made from rubber, they're 100% waterproff and wipe clean so there's no need to worry about getting muddy. As the saying goes, a bit of dirt never hurt!

Our garden clogs are essentially the same as wellies but easier to slip on if you're going in and out of the house and easier to move in. They're lighter than wellies and don't constrict you if you are kneeling down. They are also very comfortable to walk in and since they arrived I've been wearing them every day to walk the dog. They are very practical for walking accross fields when the grass is still damp with dew and they're easy on the eye too. Our garden clogs come in 3 beautiful designs and are perfect for brightening up those dull autumn days.
